This page explains what we collect through the quote form, why, and who it goes to. It is short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Miami Turf Installers operates miamiturfinstallers.com, a referral service that connects property owners in Miami-Dade County with a local artificial turf installation professional. We do not install turf ourselves.
What we collect
Only what you type into the quote form: your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, the type of project, and optionally an approximate size, a timeline and any details you add. We also record the date and time of the submission, which form on the page it came from, and your browser's user-agent string and country as reported by our hosting provider. Those last two are used to identify automated spam submissions.
We do not ask for and do not want payment details, government identifiers, or any sensitive personal information. Please do not include them in the details field.
Why we collect it, and who receives it
We use your information for one purpose: to pass your request to a local turf installation professional so they can contact you about a quote. Submitting the form is your request for that contact.
Your submission is emailed to us through a third-party form delivery service, which processes it in order to deliver the message. The installing professional who receives your request handles your information under their own practices once it reaches them.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or a list of competing contractors.
How long we keep it
Quote requests arrive as email and are retained in that mailbox. Submissions that are not acted on are deleted periodically. You can ask us to delete yours at any time; see below.
Cookies and analytics
This site runs no advertising or social tracking scripts, and it sets no advertising cookies. What measurement it does run is listed here, and this section is generated from the site's own configuration rather than written by hand, so it describes what is actually loading rather than what was true when someone last edited the page.
Cloudflare Web Analytics. Aggregate page views and real-user performance timings. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not build a profile of you.
Google Analytics 4. This is a Google service and it is not cookieless. It sets cookies in your browser to recognize repeat visits, and it sends Google your IP address, from which Google derives an approximate location. We use it to count page views and to see which pages lead to a quote request, so we record events when you start, submit or fail to submit the quote form and when you click a call to action. Those events carry which page and which form you used. They never carry your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code or anything else you typed into the form.
Google processes this data on our behalf and also for its own purposes as a controller, which can include improving its own services. That is a genuine trade and we would rather say so than bury it. You can prevent it by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking third-party scripts, or by a browser or extension that blocks Google Analytics. The quote form works normally either way, and nothing about your request depends on analytics loading.
Your choices
If you would like us to delete the request you submitted, or you no longer want to be contacted about it, reply to any message you receive from the installing professional to tell them.
To have our own copy deleted, send the form again with “Something else” as the project type and your request in the last box, using the same name and email you sent the first time so that we can find the record. We publish no other contact channel, so a deletion request has to travel the same way a quote request does. It reaches us rather than the installing professional, and we will delete our copy instead of passing it on.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete the personal information a business holds about you. We will honor those requests for the information we hold.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
